Description:

Round 21: These can be store bought or handmade.

The postcard rounds will get more difficult from now on -- not so many words starting with U or V or X -- but that's part of the fun! And handmade postcards are fine, which might solve the problem!

For the letter "U" the "U" has to be the noun, like: Ukulele or Underwear, but whatever it is it should be pretty noticeable/obvious. It should not be a postcard from Utah for instance. It has to SAY Utah if it isn't obvious. Just a nature photo wouldn't be obvious of the location. The themes should be very stand out where even a child could identify what it is.

Be sure to include your username and the swap title so you can be rated quickly, and RATE your partners. I have a zero tolerance for non-raters.

Since this swap is starting soon, I don't know if I completely understand the rules. Are we just sending our partners ONE postcard with a word on it that starts with U? Please explain in more detail, as IDK if I'm supposed to get only one postcard, or more than one...and if I'm supposed to write on the postcard and mail that by itself, or if I'm supposed to send a brand new, unused post card inside an envelope so that my partner can use it or save it. This will be my first time in this swap so I just want to get it right. Thank you!

Hi Gina,

You send your partner one postcard. You write and send that through the mail.

The postcard has to have a picture of something beginning with U. So you might send a card with a picture of an umbrella. Or a card with a picture of some underwear. Or so on. U is quite difficult. Last month when we did T was much easier.

But remember that handmade postcards are acceptable for this swap as well. If you do make your postcard, do use sturdy cardboard, make it the same size as a normal postcard or just a bit bigger and put care and effort into what you send.

You can send postcards from a place beginning with U but only if the place name is written on the front of the card.

Someone should be able to look at the card and know instantly what U word it represents.
