Back to School Pencil Pouch

It's nearly time to send the kids back to school. I thought this might be a great opportunity to sew a simple lined zipper pouch. Of course, this doesn't have to be used for your child or grandchild returning back to school. A nice zippered pouch is useful for all sorts of things.

To standardize this swap, I would ask that the dimensions be equivalent to an average size pencil pouch/case. The size should be approximately 8" X 5". There are a lot of wonderful tutorials out there to help you and give you inspiration.

Please write in the comments below, who the pencil case is for. (For example, 6 year old boy who loves cars) This will help your partner create something that you will enjoy receiving.
