Do we write a greeting on the card or do we send it blank for them to use & share if desired.?

This is a greeting card for your partner. Please write a nice message or holiday greeting inside the card. Thanks for the question. :)

If you want to keep the card nice and useable- write your message on a sticky note, then the card will still be nice, yet a message will be for the friend. This way the 'user' can use the card if she wants. MQ

Thanks @MiniQuilt for the suggestion, but for this swap all senders sign the actual card, its meant to be a "gift" for them, a friendly holiday greeting. This swap is not meant for the cards to re-used this season. I have seen other swaps that are to share your cards to mix up your stash to send out. However, this is a meant to be holiday card to hang on your wall or door to decorate for this years holidays. Of course what they decided to do with them later, is entirely up to them. What is the difference between a note card and a greeting card? Thanks!

A note card is much smaller. It is the size that usually sells near the greeting cards in a package of 8, like for party invites, thank you cards, ect. Size is approx 3.5 x 5 inches. A Greeting card size is the size for most Birthday, Anniversary, Get Well, Wedding, New Baby, Ect. Min size for the card is 4 x 5.5 The Greeting cards for this swap is the medium to larger size cards. Thanks for the question.

Thanks for the comment @yomousey A reminder for all swappers, this is a senders choice swap. I have already bought my cards. I am sure many others will be buying them before the swap too. I don't expect people go back out and buy different cards for their partners if they want a specific saying. All cards with a Happy Holidays, Winter theme, Merry Christmas, ect are allowed in this swap. Thanks:)

Can these be the Boxed Christmas Cards also?

@tamtamlee Yes, absolutely! Most of the cards I will be sending are from boxed sets. I used the greeting card description for the size. I do NOT expect anyone to go out and buy the cards from the Christmas card section next to the wedding, birthday cards that are like 4 bucks a piece! It can be, but this is for any Christmas card you want to send as long as its not handmade and the size is bigger than 4 x 5.5. Thanks for the comment! :)

Yep, for this one yes, MUST be store bought. There a plenty of swaps that are homemade allowed. I have seen some beautiful handmade ones and some not so much.
