Disappearing 4 Patch Series Γ’β‚¬β€œ November

Please note: I have made this a USA only swap as I had several people drop out because of the cost to send international. If you are interested, we can start an international swap as well, just send me a PM and let me know.

This block of the month will run for six months. Each month you will make two blocks for your partner. It will be made using rainbow colors. We will use white and the rainbow color of the month. We will use 5Ò€ squares like Judy does from Missouri Quilt Co (video link below).

If you do all six months, you will have 12 blocks that will be the colors of the rainbow. You do not have to do all six months Γ’β‚¬β€œ just the ones you wish to do.

Here are few tutorials on how to make the pattern:

Chock-a-block Tutorial

For your partner:

Make 2 blocks using white and a rainbow color - this month is Yellow

The white can be solid or a print.

Use different color fabric for each block.

Use 5Ò€ fabric squares to make your block.

Your finished block will be 9Ò€ square.

The colors will be:

October Γ’β‚¬β€œ Green

November Γ’β‚¬β€œ Yellow

December - Red

January Γ’β‚¬β€œ Blue

February Γ’β‚¬β€œ Purple

March Γ’β‚¬β€œ Orange

Hope you will join in. Let me know if you have any questions! Enjoy!!!

Nancy, You say "use different color for each block"... I understand using yellow and white. I think you are saying when we make two blocks for our partner we will use two white 5" blocks in each and then use a different yellow fabric in each block. Is that right? It occurred to me that it would be kind of fun to chose two yellow fabrics and use one of each yellow in each block -- which would be a bit more like in the Missouri tutorial. Would you please clarify that so I don't wind up doing something different from everyone else?
