I love the idea of celebrating weird or made-up holidays year round! Using the link below, choose one wacky holiday from the website then write your partner a note (or letter) to tell them how you chose to celebrate it. Include a flat surprise that reflects the holiday's theme.

Examples:

1. December 7th is Letter Writing Day - Write an introduction letter and send your partner something that celebrates snail mail.

2. December 18th is Bake Cookies Day - Celebrate by baking cookies for family and friends then write your partner a note telling them about your delicious day. Include a recipe for one of the cookies you baked.

3. December 20th is Go Caroling Day - Bundle up the family and stroll through your neighborhood singing Christmas carols at the top of your lungs. Then send your partner a card telling them how it went. Add a funny photo of your family caroling or a cute unused note card that features carolers.

These are just ideas! Be creative and have fun! The flat item is sender's choice and can be anything... postcards, note cards, sticker sheet, stamps, a newspaper or magazine article, a recipe, your own photo, etc. The only requirement is that BOTH the content of your note (or letter) and flat item relate to the theme of the holiday you choose. 😀
