Description:

I love the colorful work of the bargello needlepoint. So I thought it would be fun to do a small piece in cross stitch. There are many patterns on Pinterest. This will be senders choice, so we can start the project now. This will be minimum of 3"x3". It can be finished, but please leave a 2" border for finishing if not.

I love patterns! Fun!

then just a reminder for new stitchers...

finished - turned into something or framed
non-finished - all stitching is finished, but the edges of the fabric are what is not finished, or not framed, nor turned into a useful item

I realize I should ask a question...so to do this in Cross-stitch..use the typical cross-stitch X or use something like the embroidery long stitch, but on aida?

I have tried to delete my top message that is in a strange font three times and it keeps returning!?

@Emily either would be fine with me. I'm going to try using cross stitch. I'm starting mine too, after browsing 3 books I've hidden away. Have fun all!

I will do cross stitch. I picked out a fun pattern from a 1972 needlepoint book I picked up at a used bookstore about a year ago. I bought. It because I was fascinated by the patterns!
