I have hosted some Round Robin Journal Swaps , that are only open to "experienced" swappers with a great rating - and I have been contacted by many newbies asking if they can join... I've told them to find a "quick turnaround swap " and get some great ratings, and they would be most welcome. well, there just aren't that many "quickies" that are open to newbies, ...and I remember when I was one myself... SO... This is for YOU, if you are brand new, and haven't yet found a quick swap to get some good ratings. This is an International Swap, open to EVERYONE! - even experienced swappers (adding a coupe more "5"ratings is good for anyone! SWAP DETAILS: you will have TWO partners (that means you will get two ratings) Send FOUR blank notecards with envelopes to each of your partners. (That's eight notecards total, which is usually one packet of notecards from the store) This is a FAST swap (one week from signup deadline to mailing deadline, so get your cards right away, put them in the mailing envelope, even weigh it, if you want (remember, this is an international swap, so don't add postage yet) Swap partners will be assigned right after the signing deadline, all you'll have to do is address the envie, add the right postage, and get it mailed on time. Remember to RATE your partner as soon as your swap arrives...there are some eager newbies waiting for a number after their name! Any questions or comments please just ask or message me.

Hi, I'd like to join but I have a question--you mentioned that since it's 8 notecards total and that's like 1 notecard set from the store, does that mean that some people can send 4 of the same notecards to their partners? Thanks in advance!

There will be some newbies who join, and they will not have accumulated the varieties of things that and oldie (like me) has...and so, it does NOT matter...they can be different or all alike...

They can be different or all the same. for the newbies, who might not have the assortment as what other swappers who have been here for a longer time.

Do they have to be store bought? I used to work in a print shop and have some lovely blank note cards from local artists.

By notecard do you mean cards that would be sent for an occasion or like recipe cards? Can they be homemade? Thank you

no, not a recipe card, or any card with a message on it, like "happy birthday" etc, on it. As I stated earlier, rather than risking a lower rating, better to take a sheet of one-sided scrapbook paper, fold it, and cut it out, to fit an envelope. I will try posting a pic

I apologize for the quality of the pic, but as you see, it has a design on it, of whatever....NO words....and blank inside.

It seems that everyone is stressing about something that should be very simple. As long as the card is blank, it does NOT matter what kind of design, or no design at all,

I am so sorry for that...as with all of my swaps, I will very happily angel and send to anyone who was flaked on.

I do try to check, before partners are assigned. But this time, I was in the hospital, and getting ready for surgery, and was not as conscientious this time. I hope this did not burn you to swapping, or discourage you.

As I wrote, I will very happily angel the swap.

for both of them, in reading their profiles, they went through some serious life issues, but are trying to get back on track. The mailing deadline for this swap, is the 10th,so I will keep an eye on them, and will see if they get their swaps mailed this week.

i do understand what real life can throw at us, as I've had some very serious and tragic life events come my way also. I have to believe in second chances, or I would not be here myself.

And as I wrote, I will very happily angel my swaps.
