 Un-Buried Treasure!
Find yourself a box of some kind!
A decorative trinket box,
A cigar box, interesting chocolate box
(like those whitman's chocolate sampler boxes)
A cardboard box disguised as a book
(the kind found at craft shops)
A vintage powder box
A decorative tin box
As long as the box is decorative: having a design of some sort, or is interesting and eye catching, any type will do! The size may vary, though let's not use anything smaller than approx. 4inch x 6inch, with a depth of at least 1inch.
Send We Some Booty!
Inside our 'Tresure Chest' let's stash some booty for our partner! There is NO MINIMUM number of items ye must include, (the amount of items). Instead, we are shooting to fill this treasure box to the brim! This means you should not hear movement when vigorously shaking the closed box! (A light shuffle is fine ^_^) Keep in mind we're aiming for small, tiny things here! I understand that tea bags, for example, are a bit bigger, but overall lets keep things relatively teeny! IDEAS of things you may choose to send to ye matey:
A beautiful marble (2 maximum)
Small figurines or toys
Some buttons
Cut out stickers, or flakes
Brads
Wrapped candy (2 maximum)
Cabochons
Charms
Mini seashells
Mini erasers (1 only)
Rolls of washi/deco tape (2 maximum)
Tiny paper goods (ephemera)
Lip balm (wrapped + unused) (1 only)
Re-ment pieces
A tea bag (2 maximum)
The possibilities are endless! Keep in mind as these things are just IDEAS of the types of things you could send! The true challenge here is that this swap is PROFILE BASED!
Please choose a variety of types of items! For example, 10 teabags and 4 sticks of lipbalm, does not a treasure chest make!
Findings Just for Ye!
Here lies the challenge! Ye booty must be PROFILE BASED! You may include handmade items as long as they are something you would be pleased to receive ye-self, however please keep handmade things to a minimum. You may use items that you already have on hand, but NO BROKEN, OR TRASH booty! Also, please be mindful of smells! Many swap-buckler's are highly sensitive to cigarette smoke, or heavy perfumes! (Myself included) Please be mindful of your partner's dislikes!
And package your box well! Either inside a larger box with maybe some tissue paper, or in a large enough bubble mailer :)
This being the case, YOU MUST HAVE A WELL FILLED OUT PROFILE! By well filled out, I mean I should have to scroll down to read it! Give ye fellow sea rover a thorough list of topics and interests to choose from! This is very important in any profile based swap! I will be checking profiles thoroughly prior to assigning partners. You must also have a 5.0 rating, with 30 completed type 3 swaps to qualify for this swap. No 3s or 1s.
Unfortunately this time I will be unable to Angel for this swap, so it is IMPERATIVE you look over this swap carefully before signing up, and do sign up only if you are committed to putting together a lovely swap for ye matey, and sending on time!
