Description:

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION FOR THIS SWAP, NOT ALL ATC SWAPS WILL HAVE THE SAME RULES.

So here is my first Fabric ATC swap! It's also the first swap I've hosted on this site and ask you to bare with me if I make some mistakes :P I'm assuming everyone here knows what an ATC is and the rules regarding size, how to sign the card, etc. If not, just ask!

By signing up for this swap you agree that you will:

  • make 1 Halloween themed ATC for each partner using some sort of Halloween themed fabric. This could be skulls, ghosts, goblins, Halloween colors, spiders, anything spoooooky! While you can use any type of material you want please pay attention to your partners profiles and whether they may be allergic to things like wools. It is only required that you check for allergies, not preferences (though that's nice too). If you have any problems contact me!

  • have two partners to send to. This is open to international divas and newbie divas with a filled out profile too! We here at FAD continously check profiles and aim to make sure that we have nothing but fair fabric diva swappers!

  • NOT put any type of paper or cardstock on the front of your ATC. Feel free to use as much fabric as you like and any other embellishments that are NOT made of paper (including stickers). Feel free to use threads, ribbon, wires, embroidered patches, charms, earrings, webbing, etc.

  • NOT use paper or cardstock to support your ATC from being flimsy. If you're unsure of how to get rid of the flimsiness please ask! There's lots of creative divas here to help!

  • NOT use any type of stickers, even if they're not made of paper. This swap is about showing off the fabric!

  • make your Fabric ATC 2.5"x3.5" dimension just like a regular ATC.

  • send out your ATC's on time to your 2 partners or else tell your partners that you're going to be late!

  • have fun!!

PLEASE NOTE: The only exception to the no paper/sticker rule is that you are allowed 1 smallish sticker or paper label on the back of your ATC to sign the card and leave the usual information. Please make sure this is attached permanently! A regular address label doesn't always adhere to fabric permanently. It is preferred that you use a permanent marker to write on the fabric itself, but in case this doesn't work for everyone I don't expect you to go out and buy those expensive markers just for this swap! (But do consider it if you want to join more :D A fine tip black sharpie marker is only a few dollars and has many other uses besides just this.)

Also, since this is my first swap I may need to add/change things and will post any changes here, in the forums, or on the homepage to make you all aware. It's my first time hosting and I'm very excited!! Though...I'm sure I've missed something...

Comments/Suggestions are always welcome!!

Thanks @Krazyquilts for showing me this great tutorial for making Fabric ATC's!! Be sure to check it out!!
