Hi everyone!

This is my first time hosting a swap and I'm going to jump on the "pocket letter" bandwagon!

For this swap you will have plenty of time to create ONE (9-pocket page) pocket letter for ONE partner.

This will be a type three swap because it will be more effort than a flat swap and depending on what you use to fill the pockets the page can get a bit bulky. You may fold your PL into thirds (a single row of three pockets) for mailing purposes, in which case it is usually possible to fit it into a standard #10 envelope (although it will require extra postage if it is over 1.058 oz!).

If you are not familiar with pocket letters but want to give it a try, please check out one of the many tutorials online. The original creator, Jeanette Lane, has a video tutorial and lots of photos on her blog

As suggested by the swap name, the theme for this PL will be: GREEN!

That means each pocket should have something green in it (see the swap picture for an example). One pocket must include a letter to your partner (at least one 8.5x11 or two smaller sheets of stationary) where you can introduce yourself and perhaps mention what you are most looking forward to for Spring/Summer. What goes in the other eight pockets is up to you, examples include (but are not limited to):

-Stickers

-ATC

-Paper Clips (depending on size/embellishments should have 3-4 in the pocket)

-Souvenir Magnet

-Tea Packet

-Chocolate/Candy

-Ribbon (should be at least 12")

-Washi Tape Samples (should be at least 12")

-Buttons

-Tags

-Ephemera

-Die Cuts

-Stamps

-Beads

-Fabric (6x6" or larger)

The clear 9-pocket pages can be found at many dollar stores (I found mine at Dollarama) or online through sites like Amazon.ca.

I'm leaving lots of time for people to design and put together their swap so sending on time shouldn't be an issue for anyone!

Most of all just have fun and let me know if you have any questions or comments:)

Hello, I would love to join this swap. Just had a question: are we putting green goodies in the back (green stickers or free washi samples) or just the front of the pl can b green ... Decorating wise ... I hope my question makes sense!
