Altered Apothecary Jar *US Only*

An apothecary is the old fashioned version of the modern day pharmacist. But instead of having the generic plastic bottles of today the shops were filled with glass jars of all shapes and sizes.

For this swap we will make our partner one altered apothecary jar. Find a glass or ceramic jar, maybe something that would hold roughly 6-12 oz. (in other words nothing teeny tiny or super huge.) It can be any shape or color. The jar should have a lid, cork, or cap of some type. The jar may be something you find at a local thrift shop, old perfume bottle, or even a new jar that you like. We will then alter the jars in a whimsical way.

The theme of the jar is up to you. Will it be something spooky that you would find a witches potion in? Or magical fairy dust in a romantic jar? Or maybe vintage victorian, or something you'd find in a witch doctor's stash? The possibilities are endless. If you'd like you can base it on your partners profile, but it is not required. The jar may be sent empty for your partner to fill, or you can add things that fit your theme. Please no liqid though in case it leaks.

Be creative in what you use to decorate. Some ideas are lace, labels, tags, ribbons, silk flowers, natural grasses, etc. Put it together with care and make sure that it will ship well. Since these are breakable make sure to package the item well.
