Ever wondered what the beautiful works of art on an ATC will look like when two people create one card together... well this swap is designed for just that.

Here is how it works : partners will be assigned automatically via swap-bot and once partners are assigned.. you will create part of an ATC and leave it unfinished.. ready to send to your partner for them to finish it. Once the other person has finished it the atc goes back to the original person who sent it out.

Everyone that signs up will get one atc out of the swap.. because technically you will get the atc back that you started in the first place.....

You will have 1 partner and atc must be completed and sent back within 1 month . Please remember to write your username on the back and the date created and the other person must do the same.

You will rate your partner only when you get the completed atc back. any questions please ask....

the atc can also be decorated in any way you would like..

Yes it is international and You will rate your partner only when you get the completed atc back. If they dont send anything back 2 weeks after November 13, 2008 then you rate them a 1. If someone doesn't receive an atc then it will be angelled. thanks for asking

I think Rachel wanted to know about the rating requirements for participants. Is this open to anyone? only 4.8 and above? etc.

So, I'm just checking in here. I got my partner and sent them an unfinished ATC, so I marked my item as SENT here on swap-bot. Should I have waited to mark the item sent until AFTER I receive, altar/finish, and ship out the unfinished card I'm going to receive in the mail from the partner who drew my name?

I am a little confused on the ratings. I should be rating the partner I send my unfinished ATC to and when I receive it back then I should rate her. I shouldn't rate the person that sent me the unfinished ATC because how to you rate an Unfinished ATC. Please advise. Thanks! Jan Freeman

I think the person that I am supposed to rate is mixed up. The person I have listed to rate is the person that sent me the unfinished ATC.

I'm with jfreeman - I should be rating the person I sent my unfinished ATC to, but instead, my only option is to rate the person who will send me an unfinished ATC. Please advise...

Moonswings - Thanks for adding your comments about the rating. I haven't heard back from the coordinator yet so I am unsure on what to do. I guess we will just have to wait to hear back from her.

Daffodilgirl - Katherine is the person I sent my unfinised ATC to but when I go to the area to rate - it is NOT Katherine's name. The name is Evelyn Rozycki (evieroz) and that is who sent me the unfinished ATC. The names are mixed up in the Rating section.

Email from Daffodilgirl to Jan Freeman: Katherine Willson (moonswings) was the person you sent the unfinished atc to right.. so they could finish it and send back to you, ?

This is the person you should rate when you get it back from them.

I just received word from the Coordinator of this swap and she has told me to just rate the person I received the unfinished ATC from. It seems ODD to rate an ATC that isn't finished. I guess I will just follow the rules and rate the person that sent me the unfinished ATC. Thanks! Jan Freeman

This is an email that I received back from the Swap Coordinator:

This still doesn't make sense to me but here is what I think it's all about.

I receive the unfinished ATC from my swap partner, I then complete their unfinished ATC and send it back the them, and then I rate the ATC that I finished and my swap partner receives the rating. So, basically I'm rating myself on the finished ATC and the rating goes to the person that sent me the unfinished ATC.

That's how I see it. Any other comments?
