Description:

Hello everyone! If you were a girl scout or if your daughters are girl scouts, you maybe familiar with this idea - crafting a tiny pet in a bag and swapping them with fellow girl scouts. I was a girl scout but in my country there's no such tradition of swapping things, so I decided to give it a run here!

In this swap, you comment 7 types of pets you would like to receive, and your partner is going to pick one, and make a pet in a bag based on it. You are going to make a little "pet", and make him/her a habitat, put them inside a colourless plastic bag(colourless bottle of similar sizes are acceptable) and put a label on top of it.(Like this, but you can be creative about that: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/f7/0b/d9/f70bd9d202c078beef2db679c65dc692.jpg) Please keep the length and width similar or even smaller than a regular ATC.

You can sew, or draw, or sculpt etc.... be imaginative :)

Look through your partner's profile and imagine what kind of pet bags would they like, Google and search for information of that pet and give them a suitable habitat, send something with fine quality that you would like to receive, have fun crafting! I'll be hosting this swap regularly if people here like it :)

I'll screen all profiles before assigning partners, unrated newbies welcomed only with very detailed profiles(better including your website) No flakers nor dramas in this swap. No recent unexplained 3s or 1s.

**P.S. try not to send specimen/edible materials as they are not allowed in some countries.

**P.P.S. Please send it in an envelope.

I don't want a drawn paper animal I want something sewn please.

Is the pet to be sent in that clear bag or bottle, or is that bag/bottle to be put into a regular envelope/box for sending?

pahasiga 05/27/2017 #

I hope there will be more swaps of this, this time just the dates don't agree with my schedule - when there is less than two weeks for receiver's choice handmade, I want to be available for the swap for all that time.

I have a question... Are the animal and habitat to be the size of an ATC? If so, seems terribly tiny.

pahasiga 05/28/2017 #

I imagined a 32ct matchbox for habitat. :)

I would like as a pet: poodle cat bunny chicken star cloud sun/moon

khronicole 05/31/2017 #

@prpldy It is meant to be small, because that's how they usually done, but I'll take your opinion in consideration maybe next round the size would be sender/receivers' choices.

I would like as a pet: chicken, penguin, cat, bird or a sun
