Number of swap partners:3
Description:

I love to travel, and I love to talk about places I've been as well as hear about places others have been. (I can talk for hours about Cambodia) For each monthly themed swap, you'll have 3 partners and send each of them a postcard with a brief note about a place you've been.

December's Theme is: STUCK!

Write about a time when you got stuck while traveling. This could be from a snowstorm, flight delays, car breakdown, etc. Where were you going? Where did you get stuck? How did you overcome the challenge? (Write as much as you can fit on the back of the postcard.)

Write the swap name, swap theme and your name VERY CLEARLY on the postcard.

The postcards can be handmade or store-bought.

If you have a postcard of the "place you've been", that's great, but it does NOT have to be. ONLY the message must be written about the place.

This swap is international, and is open to all, You will only be banned if you have really bad recent ratings, or if you have any no-sends in this series of swaps.

You have till the last day of each month to send out your swap, but send it out as soon as you can.

Happy travels!

As always, if you have any other ideas for monthly travel themes, please share them. I will gladly use your ideas on upcoming swaps!

Are homemade postcards allowed (e.g. I have photos from when/where I stuck that I can turn into a postcard)? I just don't want to assume they're okay and then someone be disappointed.

According to the swap guidelines:

The postcards can be handmade or store-bought.

However, when you receive your partners, check with them about their preferences.

I would like store bought postcards if possible please, thanks!

Either or is fine with me. The more time they put into choosing the right card (whether it be handmade or store bought) the more positive a rating I give. I love things that show time and effort... not just the name of the swap and a stamp.

I like handmade best, but mainly I like ones that actually tell me something about the theme of the swap. Where were you stranded, why? what happened? Thanks.

Why do I have SIX partners? I have six to send to and six to receive from! I thought this was only 3 partners? I didn't expect so many partners. Wonder what happened?

I have six partners, and I don't have a problem with that, but 2 of the partners are the same person. Do I send two postcards to that person? I am lost on this swap for sure, but it doesn't take a lot to confuse me sometimes. LOL I am going to send out 6 cards tomorrow unless I hear something back from the coordinator before I go to the post office.

I've sent all 6 already, so I hope it stays the same. If I get three new partners, I'll have to send more postcards..
