Hello everybody! How about a Memorydex Card swap? Bought the dies last summer and have made a few. I thought it would be a fun paper craft for Barb's group. She agreed! :)
Information: The holes on these are the same size as Rolodex cards. Card size is 4" wide x 4" tall. The dies are all 4" wide but vary in height. If you use the dies use whichever you want to.
If this goes well I would like to host more swaps in different themes. The first swap, an easy one. Spring..whatever it means to you. Senders choice as long as it's Spring related. Be sure you use something such as heavier card stock or even thin chipboard from things we throw away to make your card sturdy. Do your best work. The front should have layers and embellishments. Don't just slap stickers on it and call it good. Send something you're proud of! The back should be covered , no bare backs. lol You could use pretty paper or another piece of paper that has been dry embossed. Lightly embellish back if you want to, but not required. Please include info on back with at least your name or swap-bot name.
Create one Spring Memory Dex card for one partner.
RATE promptly! Be sure to include group and swap name somewhere with your swap.
One Last Thing. Please read carefully. Don't have the die, wanna see one? For the first ten participants who 1) join my swap and 2) comment in the comment section I will send you a set of 2 starter cards using my heidi swapp dies. You will need to leave a comment on or before the swap close date of February 28th.(March 1st I will assign partners and send envelopes) Keep for a pattern or use for the swap. If you use these for swap, you'll still need to add another layer as these will be plain white card stock and not that sturdy. I will adjust the sign up and send by date so there is time for anyone who wanted these to receive and create before the send date. PLEASE let me know by commenting in the comment section when you have received your envelopes.
