Description:

I was drinking in all the wonderful smells of springtime in our woods today, and realized how seldom I slow down and take the time to enjoy this world with all five senses. Maybe this swap will help us to do just that; love life with every sense: hearing, sight, smell, touch and taste.

So, for this swap, over a period of five days you'll make note of your surroundings using each of your five senses. At the end of the time, you should have twenty five things noted. An example of one day might look like this:

Day 1

Hearing: Geese flying overhead

Sight: My husband's smile

Smell: Coffee brewing

Touch: A fleecy blanket

Taste: A dill pickle

Then, on any five of your entries, elaborate with a sentence or two. For instance, I could tell my partner what my favorite brand of coffee is and if I have any little rituals during my coffee time.

The particulars:

Please use pretty stationary; decorate it any way you like, as long as it's fancied up.

Don't forget your swapbot name and the name of the swap.

Be sure to put the number of the letter on the outside of the envelope, as is stated in the group rules.

You may type or write you letter.

In summary, take five days to list things you note with all five of your senses, and elaborate on five entries.

If you have any ones, they must be corrected before you can participate in the swap. I will make exceptions if they cannot be fixed.

Any questions, please either pm me or comment below.

You're welcome! I'll be out in the woods, smelling the rain if you need me!

This is going to be so much fun! Thanks for a great idea. And I too love the woods, but not in the rain!
