KAL startup swap

Hi all:

This is the start up swap for the Hemlock Ring Knit Along (KAL).

Since the KAL starts Jan 1st, you should be picking out you yarn now. To get you motivated to get started on time I have put together this simple swap to start out the KAL - it will be a private swap open to anyone in the Knitters R' Us group and by joining it you will be on the official roster as part of KAL.

Like I said, this swap will be simple but should get you started thinking about the project.

You will need to attach a sample of the yarn you plan on using to letter. In the letter, you will need to write a little about why you chose the yarn, what kind of needles you plan on using, and what kind of concerns you have about completing the pattern. That is the bare minimum. I also encourage you to write a little about the kinds of things you regularly knit, maybe a favorite project, or respond to a concern they have listed in the forum or on their profile... General getting to know one another stuff :)
