It's been awhile since we've had a washi tape sample swap, so let's see if anyone is interested...
Send your ONE partner 8 samples (18" or longer) of washi tape. (This is the tape that is easily torn by hand, not deco tape, which requires scissors.) As a general rule, Dollar Store tapes and cheap dollar bin tapes don't swap very well because they crease when they are folded, and don't stick as well the second time. So, please avoid sending this type of tape. It is easy to distinguish as when you tear a piece off, it sounds like paper tearing, and leaves a white edge. Wrap your tape around a plastic coated card or something that allows the end user to use all the tape you send. You can either use a piece of card stock covered with clear packing tape, a piece of hard plastic packaging or an old gift card if you don't have playing cards. Check the card to make sure the coating doesn't pull off onto the tape rendering it unusable. To add an extra "Happy Mail" element to the swap, please add a few strips (or more if you are an overachiever) of washi tape to the outside of your envelope. This should be a one-stamp swap. While this is a sender's choice swap, please check your partner's profile to make sure you aren't sending a color or theme they don't like. It could mean the difference of a heart in your rating! But, to be clear, this is up to the sender so if you receive 8 samples, 18 inches or longer, and it is sent on time in a washi tape decorated envelope, you should rate your partner a 5. Send on time, rate promptly, and as always, I check profiles, and will angel if necessary.
