O50&P/ The History of You and Me

One of the things I love about growing older is the ability to look back over all the years and see how much I've experienced in my lifetime. Just look at all that has happened in this world since we've been born. It's, well, it's like a history book!

For this swap, you will write a letter which will highlight four interesting historical events throughout your life. Start with the year you were born, put the year, and write about one event. Then, choose three more events from your lifetime, write how old you were when they happened, and (if you were old enough at the time) write what your reaction to that event was. The events can be world history, or national, or local to your town.

Your letter may be typed or handwritten, and although it's not necessary to include extras, you certainly may. Your envelope may be decorated if you like, your choice.
