YTPC: BOHO Junk Journal Envelopes

Hi swappers!

For this swap you'll be creating 2 BOHO envelopes for your partner using the tutorial found HERE

Since these are highly embellished they are meant to be used in your junk journals instead of mailing.

Your finished envelopes should measure around 4"x6"--a bit smaller would be fine.

Everyone's creations will be different, but let's all agree to include:

• some fabric

• some stitching (hand or machine)

• some rubber stamping

• some paper scraps

• some embellishments (buttons, etc)

Oddbird uses some fantastically beautiful fabric scraps. It's like she bought scraps from a sari factory! If you don't have fantastically beautiful scraps, don't worry. Use what you have on hand.

Here's a great tip for scoring some small fabric scraps: at some fabric stores (I go to Joann), they'll have a little pocket with scraps on each role of upholstery material. Some of these are very high end and beautiful. Great way to get fabric snippits and they're free for the taking.
