Description:

I love using my left over scrap yarn to make all sorts of different granny squares. Either basic, solid color, or those with more intricate designs.

I also love when things are put together through found objects to create one giant piece! So I'm creating this series of swaps to do just that.

For this swap, you will create one (1) granny square for two (2) partners. Each granny square is senders choice! So the size stays the same, we are doing three round granny squares with size J (6 mm) hooks. Let's stick with acrylic yarn to make it consistent and cost friendly. This series of swaps will continue until a blanket is complete so make sure you join each one! (Yarn size is worsted weight, since I forgot to mention and finished granny square should be around 3.5 inches <3)

Any questions can be posted down below or PM'd to me and I will happily answer them. If the instructions don't make sense I'll be happy to clarify more.

Newbies are allowed, but only with well filled out profiles! I will be checking. No recent/unexplained 1s or 3s.

Happy swapping!

Hey, so excited about this swap! Just a quick question about yarn size. What would you use for a size J hook typically? worsted weight? I'm just checking as here in the uk the sizes are a little different...:-)

Whoops! Sorry I forgot the weight of yarn. Yes, worsted weight will work best. Anything with that little 4 on the label. :D

Great thanks. I'll try and figure out a comparison here :-)

This is such a silly question, but are we just doing a regular 3-round granny square, no frills, just J hook, worsted weight?

To clarify: no special pattern like a motif, JUST a granny square?
