Description:
For this swap you will send one postcard to one partner. The postcard is to be a maxicard, it can be of any theme you like. A maxicard, also known as a maximum card, is a postcard that has a stamp on the front of the postcard that is related to the picture or the same as the picture (see swap pic above). Most maxicards also have a special postmark in keeping with the theme of the postcard. You can buy maxicards from your post office and the price includes the postcard and the stamp so you don't have to put any stamps on the back. You can send it in an envelope or without an envelope, please check your partner's profile for their preference. Remember to include your Swap-bot username, the name of the swap, and the date you post on the postcard and mark your swap as sent. Newbies are welcome who have a filled out profile. Is maxicard without postmark will do?

@Sandy1969 To be a maxicard it must have the stamp on it, so as long as the PC has the stamp on the picture, it's ok if there is no special postmark.

Where do you find a Maxicard? I've never seen them! It's getting super hard to find regular PCs!!

Yes i have maxicard with special postmark. Its better to send postcard in envelope. I would like to receive maxicard in envelope.

USA is now offering postcards with matching stamps separately. I thought a maxicard had to have a cancellation on the front stamp. I just bought a set of Disney villains and matching stamps. So, my question is: will an uncanceled card be acceptable? I would want my card in an envelope also.

Hi @mamajoy I have had a look online at these Disney PC's and stamps and these do not qualify as a maxicard. A maxicard has the stamp already on the postcard and it is placed on the front on the picture on the postcard (refer to photo for the swap) whereas you would be placing a matching stamp on the back of the PC so therefore not a maxicard.

In the USA I dont think we issue maxi cards. I usually make my own by matching stamps with postcards. Is this acceptable?

Hi @juliewasson unfortunately homemade postcards with matching stamps are not maxicards therefore do not qualify for this swap.
