If you totally keep your specific pal in MIND when you are writing your intro letter and making it TO that specific person; this is for you. (And when you have a letter to respond to, you actually RESPOND to that letter throughout your letter back)

If you like to receive a letter that is definitely to YOU and YOU alone; this is for you.

If you like to have a TWO WAY conversation via letters; this is for you.

If you tend to write at least two pages, both sides; this is for you.

HOWEVER......

If you are interested in getting more pals to hit a certain # of pals, pals from specific states, or any other methodology that's not specific to a pal; this is NOT for you.

If you generally write letters without reading the profiles, or just skim over them; this is NOT for you.

If you write a letter and you can't tell whom it's to based on what it says within the letter CONTENT; this is not for you.

If you write a one page letter, or less; this is not for you.

If you type letters and re-use parts of a letter written prior; this is not for you.

This is for potential pals who are willing to put in the effort to get to know their partner vs. just writing about what's going on in their life and mailing it out like a journal entry.

Rating based on whether it was obvious that your partner actually read your profile (obvious as in; they commented on multiple topics.)

Hopefully you will gain a pal or two but keep trying if you don't get a match; just like when you meet people in person, some you click with and some you don't....it may take several swaps to get a pal that feels like a long lost friend.

You must have a well filled-out profile to join this swap! (Tell about yourself, such as your interests, hobbies, likes, dislikes, inspiration, goals, etc)

💌ADDITIONAL INFO: I will be adding more swaps just like this, but it will be more of a 'pop up' swap instead of it being here for weeks before the actual swap date. I plan to add them the week of the swap so people aren't signing up weeks before and then something comes up and they can't/don't send on time. The "pop up" swap, last minute, is not like me, but hopefully it will avoid those disappointments of people not actually sending on time.... 😢
