BTH: Autumn Mail Art - Themed Envie Swap

For this swap, we're going to fill a regular sized or larger envelope with flat(ish) themed items - and decorate the envelope, front and back, in an autumn theme!

Send your partner 1 regular, letter or card sized (not letterset - standard letter size!) envelope that has been decorated by you, that contains at least 5 autumn themed flat(ish) items. Include a note or swap card with the swap and your username as well please!

When decorating your envelope, please consider this a piece of true mail art and design accordingly. Do NOT slap a few stickers, or stamp an image, or lay a strip of washi tape along the edge and call it done. This should be it's own piece of art!

Basically, the ideas are almost limitless as long as the envelope is clearly autumn themed.

Items - Ideas of Things to Send

• Stickers (minimum 5 thumbnail sized stickers count as one item. Large or very large stickers may also count as one, but they should be exceptional in quality and size to do so)

• Autumn themed (leaves, acorns, etc.) shaped brads or other embellishments

• Charms

• Usable themed papers (must be at least ATC sized, and if using papers, 5 sheets counts as ONE item)

• Notecards

• Stationery

• Postcards

• An autumn ATC, ATCoin, or tag made by you

Again...ideas are limitless.

In a Nutshell

• 1 decorated, autumn mail art, themed envelope with a minimum of 5 autumn themed items enclosed, to 1 partner.

• Items must be new or in new condition. Do not send wrinkled, crumpled, dirty, torn, smelly, or pet hair covered items.

• Ensure that your envelope will stand up to postal machines!

• Create and send something you'd love to receive.

The Administrivia

• Send on time. Rate promptly upon receipt. Sending late without communication warrants a 3 rating and removal from the group. Not rating or having to be chased for a rating also warrants removal from the group. Communicate and rate.

• Rate according to the Swap-Bot Rating Criteria. Failure to rate your partner or to rate correctly will result in your removal from this group.

• If you are going to be late sending, make sure you let your partner and me know prior to the send-by date.

• Hearts are purely at the discretion of the rater.
