Description:

This swap is an invitation to get to know another member of our Electronic Swaps Group with a personal email letter exchange.

You'll share an introductory email letter with 1 partner. Your letter must be written specifically for this swap - no form letters or previously shared introductions.

You may write the letter by hand, scan it, and email it. Or simply craft your letter via email or Swap-bot messaging.

Here are some suggested topics - not required to answer or address all, but the goal is to give your partner a real introduction:

  • Basic info, name, age, family, where you live, work, etc...
  • In addition to what's listed on your profile, what else can you share about your likes and dislikes?
  • What caught your eye on your partner's profile and why?
  • How has Covid-19 impacted you?
  • What are you excited about this season? Summer/Winter plans?
  • What's your favorite part about swapping?
  • Do you want to keep in touch?
  • What have you been up to?

Please make your letter personal and interesting, so that your partner can get to know you. The minimum amount to write would be the equivalent of a full letter-size paper typed, or 2-3 handwritten pages of letter set stationery. In other words - estimate 6-8 paragraphs/50-60 lines.

Include photos, graphics - if you like. Not required.

It's up to you if you decide to write back, but rating the swap promptly is required.

I'm already looking forward to receiving a letter from my partner! Thanks for signing up, and as always - let me know if you have any questions. Happy Swapping!
