Description:

This is my first swap, so I hope you'll consider participating! Each person has one partner. You 'll send your partner at least 5 flat items that are predominantly yellow, grey or yellow and grey together. Your envelope cannot be all one color. It cannot be all stickers either. Here is a list of items you could send (it's not exhaustive!):

memo sheets or sticky notes

notecards, postcards, or letter sets

washi tape samples (please be generous)

stickers or labels

ephemera, die cuts, pretty papers

original art!

postage stamps, new or used

paint chips, wallpaper samples

Include a brief note or a longer letter about how these colors make you feel and what you think of them paired together.

Sender's choice. Must have 4.95 or better. Newbie friendly - must have well filled out profile, completed 10 or more type 2 or 3 swaps, and have 10 or more "5" ratings.

The inspiration for this swap comes from the Pantone Institute announcing their "color of the year," as really 2 colors. "Illuminating" is their name for a particular shade of yellow, and "Ultimate Grey." The idea is that the world has been under a fog for a while now, but there is hope on the horizon. You can read more about it here: https://www.pantone.com/color-of-the-year-2021

Pantone says this color combination is, "conveying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting."
If that is intriguing to you, I hope you'll participate in this swap.

On a practical note, please consider, many FLOWERS are YELLOW: daffodils, dandelions, buttercups, sunflowers, etc.. Many ANIMALS are (or might be) GREY: elephants, mice, rabbits, cats, etc.

In honor of the universality of the language of color, this is an international swap!
