Description:

I’m sure there are swappers in Swap-bot World who have made a decision that they would like to see all the U.S. National Parks in a designated time period. I have been to a number of National Parks and those count towards my wish to see 1/2 of the National Parks in my designated time period. However, I also thought it would be FUN to visit some National Parks while relaxing in my recliner. As a Result, I thought it would be ENJOYABLE to create a 9-pocket Pocket Letter.

SO, IF YOU WANT TO GIVE TO ANOTHER SWAPPER, THE GIFT OF A “VIRTUAL” TRIP AND RECEIVE ONE IN RETURN.

THIS SWAP IS FOR YOU.

WHEN I DO A POCKET LETTER, I SEE MYSELF DOING 9 ARTIST TRADING CARDS.(2-1/2 x 3-1/2).
SO I WILL BE USING THE ACRONYM ATC THROUGHOUT THE DIRECTIONS.

I will share the DIRECTIONS for this swap below:

  1. Pick 9 U.S. National Parks you would like to visit.
They can be National Parks you have visited and/or National Parks you haven’t visited yet.

  2. Cut cardboard and/or some other material that is sturdy into 9 rectangles the size of an ATC(2-1/2 x 3-1/2). One goes into each pocket of your Pocket Letter.

  3. The Directions that follow are the “heart” of this Swap. Please read the Directions.

      A. Cover the front of each ATC with card stock and/or
scrapbook paper of your choice. On the back of each
ATC pocket there needs to be card stock and/or
scrapbook paper. Whether you glue it to the back of the
           ATC is up to you.

    B. BE CREATIVE! The following needs to be
         on each ATC you create.

                 1. Name of the National Park.

                 2. Date the park became a National Park.

                 3. A picture of the National Park. BE
                     CREATIVE about how you present
the National Park. Think about different
ways you can locate your pictures.

                 4. Your last creative endeavor is to write a
                      6-sentence paragraph about the National
Park. Think carefully about the paper you
use. This paragraph goes in the back
                      of each pocket.

                 5. Your FINAL TASK to complete this
National Park Pocket Letter, fill the
back pocket with a few goodies.
There all sorts of creative items you
can put in the back of each pocket.
You can use your Partner’s Profile
If you wish, but it’s not required.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE MAKING THIS TO GIVE TO ANOTHER SWAPPER. REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE GIFTING THIS POCKET LETTER TO A FELLOW SWAPPER. THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO RECEIVE, AND SEND THE SAME IN RETURN.

NOW HERE ARE THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE SWAP!

I had to look up what is a pocket letter is. ATC's to fill one sheet of a baseball card holder. Easy and fun. :)
