Description:

Change of plans--photovivie has asked to take over this swap, so I'm handing it over to her. She'll be hosting the next round. I'll post a link in the comments as soon as it's been created. It will be for next month.

It's more fun with more participants, so please join and let's continue sharing our love of books and especially the ones we loved and want to share!

For new-comers, here's the details. This was a swap for a now-defunt group, so we've opened it up to all Swappers!.

If you missed previous rounds, don't sweat it! You can join at any time.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME PARTICIPATING--

Your first swap will be you setting up your postcard. You can do this in advance of being assigned a partner.

Find a postcard you like that is 4 x 6, or 107mm x 152mm. This allows the postcard to easily fit in a normal envelope, as well as not requiring additional postage.

On the back, address the postcard to yourself. At the top, post the swap (CL: Traveling Book Card), and your Swap Bot name. Then, draw pairs of lines on the message side of the card. Aim for 4-7 pairs of lines.

Once your postcard is set up, pop it in an envelope. Once partners are assigned, send it off. It's okay to send it back to the owner in this swap, so you won't need to hold on to it for a new partner. Just send it on and they can send it out for the next round, and get a peek at the books people have recommended. Use your best judgment. If two of you have been sending the same card back and forth a few times, hold on to it and send out a new one.

IF YOU'VE PARTICIPATED BEFORE--

Take the postcard you received in the previous round, make sure you've put down a recommendation, and send it on to the next person.

Didn't receive a card yet? Start a new one! It's okay to have multiple cards going out, but only if you don't have a card to pass on.

When You Receive your Partner's Postcard--

You will be filling out one of the sets of lines. The top line is a book you recommend and the author. If you need to, let it run to the second line. Then, the bottom line should be your Swap Bot name, and your location.

You can choose how you want to put your location in. You can choose your town, state/province, and country, or some combination of them. At the very least, include your country so we can see where the postcards are traveling to.

Let's revive this and send some book recommendations to our fellow swappers!

Happy Swapping y'all!
