and I was so inspired I just had to make a swap!

Let's be led (down the garden path) by the beautiful work in those images, to create a little penpal pocket with elements of vintage, botanical, and fairytale magic!!

Please include a minimum of 3 different types of goodies (eg. '4 washi samples, 3 fussycuts, 5 sticker flakes.' OR '1 postcard, 2 handmade journal cards, 3 large washi stickers' etc,) following your good reasoning and generosity. These things may include book pages, handmade items, journal decorations, craft supplies, little notes 'from the fairies', or anything clean and of good quality that fits the theme and would be a delight to receive. Don't forget a note or letter to your partner to make this all the more fun to receive!

Some mail art decoration on the envelope to indicate theme is strongly recommended as it certainly aids in getting in the mood of excitement to explore a magical forest happymail. And don't forget to include your username and the swap name on the reverse of the envelope!! 🪴📰🧚‍♀️✨

This is an international swap, and as such it should be flat and appropriate to send in a standard envelope with a single international postage stamp. If you choose to go above and beyond, sending a 100g padded mailer or similar, do not rate your partner according to what you chose to send in your excess of generosity, but rate fairly according to the expectations of a single-stamp happymail PLEASE. However, do not rate down for generosity either, of course.

To sign up, please ensure that you have a rating above 4.9 with no unexplained low ratings, and that you have completed 5 or more type 3 swaps with at least 3 hearts. I do angel all my swaps, but I trust that will not be necessary 😊

To recap, we will be sending:

• One standard size envelope with an international postage stamp, decorated in a vintage fairy and botanical theme, and with our username and swap name written on the back

• One handmade penpal pocket in a vintage fairy and botanical theme, inspired by the Instagram post linked above

• A reasonable selection of flat goodies in the pouch, applicable to the theme, and of a minimum 3 different types

• A note or letter to your partner

Because goodies are sender's choice, it's okay to prepare the mail before partners are assigned. However, checking your goodies against your partner's likes/dislikes is always a polite thing to do.
