Description:

Polka dots, stripes, zig-zags -- hooray! Let's send EIGHT different patterned washi of at least 18 inches (45.5 cm) in length.

Washi is sender's choice; just make sure it has a definite pattern. Please do not share any that have words on it, are just a single solid color, or have characters on it. (Although those can be considered "pattern" of sorts, let's save them for other swaps.)

Please include a note with the swap name and your username on it.

RECAP - You're making a set of 8 washi to mail to 1 person

I don't understand which kind of washi must be sent. Geometric pattern only? Like grid, polka dots...or, I don't know...floral are allowed? Stars? Sorry, English isn't my first language...

Hi @benny thank you for asking! Any pattern is welcome to be sent. A pattern is any repeated decorative design, so any of the types you mentioned would fit, so long as its design is repeated, predictable and not abstract. For this swap, the major goal is to not share washi that is a solid color, any washi with words, or any with characters on it (like people or animals, etc.) This swap is open to all other kinds of washi as long as it’s a repeated decorative design. An example of something that wouldn’t be a fit: There are some “story” washi where a scene is created, like a winter landscape—that is not a pattern, so something like that should not be shared in this swap. Hope this information helps!
