Let's mix things up this month, and make two (2) collaged 3" x 3" ink box cards for two (2) different partners (Double the fun! Send 4, Get 4!) in a "Red, White, and Blue" theme -- but with a twist!

Create your four ink box cards with:

➖ a "red" theme
➖ a "white" theme
➖ a "blue" theme
➖ or some combination of the above

You are free to interpret the "Red, White, and Blue" theme as you wish. Light or dark, the interpretation is yours! It might be nice to include a note for your swap partner to share your unique inspiration, especially if it's not obvious. Here are just a few ways you might wish to interpret the "Red, White, and Blue" theme:

• RED is a common nickname for tawny-haired folk. You might choose to feature redheads, in all their gorgeous, freckled, glory this month.
• BLUE and WHITE combine in Delft pottery to classic, elegant effect. What a great background Delft patterns would make!
• The WHITE Album is the only double album by English legends, The Beatles. They'd make a great ink box card subject.
• Sometimes, when they're sad, people say that they feel BLUE. Ink box "mood" cards could be really cool to make.
• RED, WHITE, and BLUE is the patriotic palette of America, especially around July 4th. Fireworks, anyone?

But wait, there's more!

Because we're not just doubling the number of cards and partners this month. There's also a double twist:

START WITH A MASTERBOARD

A masterboard is a large foundational piece that gets collaged as a single unit. Let's make our masterboard 6x6 inches for this swap.

After your 6x6 masterboard collage is complete, cut it into quarters. You'll end up with four (4) ink-box-sized pieces. Magic! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)つ━━✫・*。

Your cut-apart cards will likely need "a little something more" to create balance and focus, so add additional elements as necessary to finish them off.

After partners are assigned, you'll have two weeks to complete your work before the mail-by date, which is the last day of the month. This is not a profile-based swap, so you can dive in to creating right away!

ANGEL GUARANTEE
It's my heartfelt wish that participants in my swaps have a happy and rewarding experience, because I want them to come back for more! That's why I'll cheerfully angel this swap with my own best work for any participant who has:

• Waited a reasonable amount of time for a swap return to arrive
• Messaged his/her swap partner, to no avail (partner doesn't respond and/or promised "resend" never arrives)
• Rated his/her partner "1" for the swap
• Commented in the rating box that nothing was received/swapper is non-responsive/"resend" never arrived (whatever applies)
