Dear Diary Swap - Fall into Christmas

I received permission from CraftyMommaOnABudget to host this and any of her other swaps that I would like. Due to family reasons, she is needing to leave Swap-bot for the unforeseeable future. She is hoping to return when things have settled down. We wish you well V, and will be praying for you and your family!

I'm going to follow her guidelines for the past Dear Diary swaps because these are my favorite swaps on Swap-bot!! I may tweak things here and there so make sure to read all the requirements! This IS a requirement for this swap.. HAHAHAHA.

Here's What We're Going To Do:

1. Composition sized notebook, no mini journals.

2. Create Diary Entries for: September (15+), October (15+), November (15+) and December (15+).

3. The number in the brackets above is the MINIUMUM journal entries you need for each month.

4. This is NOT a junk journal, this is a WRITING swap. Write at least one paragraph consisting of 5+ sentences a day. You can write more, but not less.

5. Talk about your day, a book you are reading, a recipe you tried and/or activity you love doing. You can share the weather and temperature for that day, a poem you wrote. Just keep it fun :)

6. Try and keep it positive please. I know we all have terrible days but it's up to us to try and seek the positive. It's fine to say, "I've had a bad day today, this happened...." but it's not cool to send a journal with 60+ depressing entries.

7. Feel free to add other entries in ADDITION to your required entries. If you like drawing, add a picture. If you have tons of washi tape, do a sample page. Feel free to add pictures and decorations to your journal. Make it fun!!!

8. Try to decorate the front of your Dear Diary in someway. It doesn't have to be fancy. Even just a title and some pretty stickers are better than nothing. :)

9. Please date your entries so we know where we are in the journal.. hahahahaha.

10. Please mail on time. Due to the holidays that this journal covers, I am giving extra time to mail journals. There may be a cross over for the mailing of this round to the beginning of the next journal round.

11. Even though the sign up date is September 7th, you can start your Journal before partners are assigned so that you can get in your 15+ entries for September.

12. Please remember that you are more than welcome to write EVERY day if you Wish..... you don't have to stick to 15 a month. I LOVE writing entries everyday.

Since this will be a busy time of year, I thought I would share one of my habits that I have with this swap. I am known to get behind from time to time but I found a way that I can make sure that I remember what I've done so that I can still write about it. 😂😂😂

I take a picture of something I want to remember and/or I use my notebook on my phone to write a note of what I've done that day. It just helps to keep things fresh in my memory in case I get busy in r/l and miss a few days in my journal that I want to go back and write later.
