Let's make this cute, cute dolll!

Lily Marlene Doll

If you have trouble accessing the tutorial, please pm your personal email address to me and I will send it to you.

You can reduce or enlarge her if you like, but she must be at least 5" tall (finished). Please choose colours according to your partner's profile preferences (if colours are not specified in their profile, it will be sender's choice).

Please do not post comments below re the size and/or colour of doll you would like - they will be removed.

This is open to everyone with a good record here, a completely filled out profile, and a minimum of 10 rated substantial swaps. If you have unfair ratings on your profile that are not explained, please pm me with an explanation as I will not be contacting you. I also reserve the right to ban as I see fit.

Please do not pm me asking to join this swap if you do not meet the above requirements - in fairness to all of the other participants who do meet the requirements, I cannot make any exceptions BUT you might like to join this swap instead:

So sweet! Is this your pattern? On my watch list. Will join closer to date. Mary

too cute, watching for now, but signing up before the date!

TerryF 04/10/2009 #

No, this is not my pattern - just found it browsing the other day.

NaughtyElf 04/10/2009 #

I may try this, do we have to be experienced making this type of doll, or can this be our first? I am watching for now! Thank you!

MamaD 04/10/2009 #

Ohhh...I'm watching AND going to make a few before it starts! How cute!!

TerryF 04/10/2009 #

NaughtyElf: Yes, this can certainly be your first doll like this - it is a fairly simple pattern which is one of the reasons that I like it so much. I think it is great that she is dressed as you sew her - I am lazy and love these kinds of "shortcuts". lol

I love this doll. I wasn't able to print the pattern for some reason, though. My paper came out blank. Wonder what I'm doing wrong?

ladydy5 04/24/2009 #

Highlight the pattern and go to copy and then paste into your works program.

TerryF 04/24/2009 #

Thanks ladydy5 - I have pmd lovetoquilt2 to see if she has been able to print it..

lovetoquilt2 04/28/2009 #

I made one of these as a trial and it is very quick and easy. :)
