Description:

When you are creating your junk journal, isn’t it fun to add pockets and inserts? I love pockets.

I found a great tutorial from Pinkstrawberryz and dusted off my index cards and made a bunch. For this swap, you will only make four because they are easy, and you can keep them flat for a first-class stamp mailing.

For this swap, you can make four of the same pocket or ANY COMBINATION OF POCKET TYPES, for a total of four that you will send to your partner. Please decorate each pocket differently. Remember, you’re making something that you would like to put inside your journal.

Pockets need a tag, so please make one SIMPLE TAG for each pocket (the tag does not have to be decorated but feel free to do so).

You can use stickers (no reward/seasonal/tiny), washi tape, cut aparts from paper pads, die cuts, etc. to decorate each pocket. You can use any type of closure for the ones that need a closure – be creative.

  1. Make four pockets (same or ANY COMBINATION for a total of four) decorated differently.
  2. Make a simple tag for each pocket.

DISTRESS INKING IS OPTIONAL/ NOT REQUIRED

Thanks for setting up this swap! I've been busy watching all the various tutorials using index cards - quick and easy project it looks like. I will do a few before I sign up.

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but what do you mean by “tag”? I don’t think I saw a tag on the tutorial link. Thank you!
