I haven't seen any swaps like this before, so we're going to give it a shot! Hopefully it goes well! :)

This is for ALL writers of any level. Whether you've only ever written poetry on a steamy shower door or you're famous on Wattpad - join us!

The gist - write a short story. That's the easy part. Here's where the twist comes in. Your writing prompt will be provided by the partner you're assigned to!

Once you've received your swap partner, reach out to them via email to let them know you're sending to them, and they will reply with your writing prompt. You may receive an email as simple as "A snail without a shell" or something as in depth as "You enter a cave and find a shoe... then, you find the person that belongs to that shoe."

The possibilities are endless! Try to keep the prompt geared toward something on their profile.

Writers - if you type the story, it must fill 1 full page (8.5"x11") printed. If you handwrite the story, it must be 1 full page front and back (8.5"x11"). (Small font takes up less space).

Long swap period so you have time to chat with your partners and concoct your story!

NO 1s or 3s in the last 6 months. You will be removed from this swap. Must have a rating of at least 4.9 with a fully-filled out profile.

I will angel if necessary. Do not flake.

If you receive your letter and it fits the requirements and is received on time, rate accordingly. Adding the heart is up to you.
