This is an ongoing swap for the Quilt Block Swap with a twist.This is the 4th Round and i will also be posting the 5th round as well.So please do sign up for both.The reason is that i know some of you will be needing the extra time.Due to vacations and personal reasons.You will still have the same amount of time as usual.The only difference is that you will know your partners now rather then later.

This is for all you Fabric Artists out there.If you are new to making quilt blocks this will be a great start.

You will make 1 fabric quilt block 8 x8 for 1 swap partner.You can make the quilt block however you like.Here is the twist.If you crochet or knit you can still join.I read a very interesting article in a mag today.You would crochet or knit a quilt block and stitch the block to a muslim or fabric background.This makes for an interesting finished quilt block wouldn't you say.

The swap generated enough interest for us to do this every month so now your quilt blocks will be big enough for a wall quilt to hang.

I am asking that everyone if they would please sign their block in some way.Just a little corner ect..

This has been so much fun and i have made so many friends.I so appreciate each and every one of you and thank you for the wonderful opportunity.

We will truly have a quilt of friendships.I do ask that if you are not in my yahoo group to please get in touch.It does not generate email just one to let you know what is going on.

If you would like to correspond with others then let me know and i will turn it into a public group where we can all chat about our blocks.

Please be sure to join Round 5 as well.They both have end dates of 5/7 but different send out dates.So if you want to be included in both please go here as well.

Sadly, I can't sign up for this one or the next, I'm not going to have any workspace soon, while we do some repairs in my studio--everythign is going to be torn up and chaos for a while, so no new swaps for a couple of months probably. Have fun! Cyn

Hi Funkychickenoriginals...

As for the Quilt Block Swap With A Twist Round 4, I have got the name of Terry in Canada, again!

However as you read the latest comments left by Terry, I had got her name Terry for the Block Swap Round 3 as well.

I am afraid there is a mistake while selection the names for the Round 4, at least for me.

I think I should not have this ''same'' name again for Round 4, do not you think so?

Could you please re-arrange and inform me about my ''New Partner'' to be able to join for the Swap Round 4 please?

I am urgently waiting for your reply back.

Would anyone be willing to make an extra block to swap with me for one of mine? I will then send that block to my partner. I can't think of any other way to keep from sending Windchimes one of my blocks three months in a row!

Hi Susan!

Just a quick word to let you know I sent your quiltblock yesterday. As I was in France visiting my parents; it's been sent from there instead of from Scotland. I hope you don't mind:) The only thing I'm slightly worried about is the French post services: at the post office where I sent the package from; it seemed like they had nearly never sent anything to the States...but hopefully I'm just being paranoid:)
