This swap is for anyone who loves Christmas! Don't get me wrong, Halloween and Thanksgiving in the US are great, but for me, October means getting ready for my favorite December holiday!

I love giving gifts to my children and family but, as the mom, I rarely get gifts. Which is fine, but maybe there are others out there who also enjoy picking out the perfect gift for someone!

There are four swaps in this series: this first swap is only a week since I started it late, but the following three will each be two weeks to give partners time to select their gifts. The final swap will be two weeks before Christmas to give the gift time to be delivered. The final swap will be two weeks before Christmas to give the gift time to be delivered. Gifts must be profile-based and can be purchased or handmade. Please have plenty of info on your profile to give your partner options in sending. Links to wish-lists are okay. You can also leave a comment below of any ideas if you like.

Please giftwrap your gift in some way, if possible.

If purchasing a gift, value it around $5. You can ship directly to your recipient from the store to save on shipping if you like. However, if you do this and are not able to giftwrap, give your recipient a heads up so they can leave it in the envelope if they wish to be surprised.

Recipients can open their gifts immediately, or wait until Christmas to open them. If you wait to open, rate your partner a 5 upon receiving your gift. Please keep in mind that we are all strangers selecting gifts for each other. If you are unhappy with your gift upon receiving, ask yourself if it was an appropriate selection based on your profile; if so, modify your profile for next time. If you still feel your gift is inappropriate after opening it, reach out to your partner at that time.
