Primitive Stitching is very fun and can be as easy as you want to make it! Do a search of Primitive stitching and see how cute and simple it is!

This swap is to be done on 5x7 piece of fabric. If you would really like some thing on yours post it down below.

You will have 1 partner to send to. Look at your partners likes and try to make something nice that they would like. This doesn't need to be elaborate but try to spend a little time on them to make them special.

You must have a 4.8 or higher. I will check for no sends. If you sign up please no FLAKERS!! This will be a fun swap! HERE is a link for a few simple FREE patterns you can use or maybe just get a few ideas to make your own pattern. http://www.freecraftz.com/twigsnsprigs.html

I love anything prim.. so my partner has the creative license to do whatever prim design they want.

I have a couple questions.. does it need to be a finished piece (i.e. into a wall hanging or pillow) and can we do a size bigger than 5x7?

ellecupcake 05/13/2009 #

It is just the primitive stitching on fabric. No need to frame it or anything... also, you can do larger than a 5x7 but make sure you make it AT LEAST a 5x7... nothing smaller

here is a place with TONS of the free patterns:

I am using one of theirs that I altered to make sure it fit the minimum requirements.

This is just what I need to practice my stitching:) If my partner could make the fabric size 6.5 x 7 it would be great. Also, am really (still) into Christmas if that's any help for my partner:)

I'm a newbie but love stitching is there anyway I could join?

ManitoulinGirl 05/21/2009 #

Hi. I will love anything that you make, but I'm awfully partial to sheep. Don't know why - I also enjoy other animals and nature.
