Oh, I'm quite liking theming these. I'll do some regular ones, too, but bear with.

In this version, the song you pick MUST be from a soundtrack of some sort. It could be instrumental or sung, etc.

When I say soundtrack, I mean from a film, musical, TV show, ballet, opera, etc. Any media with music in it!

The vast majority of media has some sort of music, haha, but I do ask that as you just name the specific track (or group of tracks, or the soundtrack entirely!) that the soundtrack actually has some metatextual meaning in the story, not just boring background music! Otherwise, completely free reign. Have fun!!!

Rules as usual below : Make an ATC based off of your chosen song!

It could be anything from capturing the Vibe, designing something based on it, or honing onto a specific line or set of lyrics etc that you like and going wild with it. Be creative!

You will have 1 partner, and will be given 2 weeks to make & send your ATC, however you are free to make before partners are assigned, if it so suits you.

Your ATC must be sent in a protective sleeve or similar, and on the back you have to include the song it is based on + the artist/band!

You may include lyrics on your ATC, but it must not be covering the entire thing, or it must be interspersed with your own work. I use a lot of squashing and stretching when incorporating lyrics or words into my art, & tend to add it after illustrating. Try that!

Optionally, but encouraged = Add a note or letter explaining why you chose the song, why you like it and how you got your idea!

RULES =

• All physical mediums are fine, be it drawing, painting, colouring, mixed media etc. but NO digital art or excessive sticker slapping.

Sticker slapping as PART of mixed media is acceptable, as long as it does not cover over 20% of the paper.

• Your ATC should measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches, about the size of an average trading card.

• All newbies welcome, as long as you have a filled out profile.

• No unexplained / unresolved recent 1s or 3s
