I thought I'd create this swap as it's the only lottery I'm ever likely to win 😀

Welcome to The Postcard Lottery!

For this swap, everyone gets to create their own mini postcard wish list and then leaves fate in the hands of their sender.

How It Works

Before partners are assigned, add five postcard themes to the swap comments section.

Examples might include:

Cats Architecture Trains Gardens Castles Lighthouses Maps Coffee Books Flowers Wildlife Seaside Historic Buildings Bridges Art

Once partners are assigned, your sender will choose one of your five themes and send you a postcard that matches.

The postcard should be:

Store-bought or professionally produced Good quality Written, stamped and sent naked through the post Related to one of your swap partner's chosen themes

Along with your message, tell your partner:

Which theme you selected Why you chose that particular card The Fun Part

Nobody knows which of their five themes their sender will choose, making every mailbox delivery a little surprise. You might receive your favourite theme, your most unusual theme, or the one you almost forgot you listed!

Requirements

Please list exactly five themes

Themes should be broad enough that a postcard can reasonably be found

Include your Swap-bot username and the swap name on the postcard

New and experienced swappers are welcome, provided you have a well-completed profile. I'm going to leave this one open to newbies, so if you know anyone in the UK who would like to join our little group, send them an invite or let me know, and I will.
