Handmade Envelopes

"put thought and creativity into these".... now I'm wondering if that means you not only want them hand MADE but also DECORATED??? When I think of handmade envelopes I think of making envelopes from calendar pages, magazine pages, maps, sheet music, etc. Is that going to meet swap expectations?

Yes that would meet swap expectations because those are very Creative! Mainly, I don't want someone disappointed for getting 8 white printer paper envies from their partner. How boring is that?

You have given great ideas as well. Others include: Different shaped envies, different sized envies, using fabric, paint, and textured paper.

I love handmade envelopes, especially if they are mailable! What good is an envelop if you can't mail something in it! LOL....

I just recently purchased an Arnold Grummer Papermill Pro. In this papermaking kit there is an envelope template/mold so I can actually mold envelopes from paper pulp. What a great opportunity to try out my new "toy"!

I use every kind of recycled paper imaginable for the envelopes I sell at a local retail store that showcases local artists that use recycled materials. It is an obsession I work on weekly, lol. I will happily 'customize' my envelopes to profiles whenever possible & use many in my swaps. Tell me what you like ! :)

My envelopes are all ready, I hope my partner likes them!
