Description:
I participated in my first zentangle swap for zentangle inchies and found them very theraputic and relaxing to do. You can check out a great zentangle website at http://www.zentangle.com. Traditionally they are black lines on a white background. Let's give it a twist and create Zentangle ATCs on colored backgrounds - solids or solid blends (like abstract watercolors) - not patterned backgrounds. Send 2 different ATC to 2 partners for a total of 4 Zentangle ATCs.

do the lines have to be black or can we use colored ink?

I was thinking of still using black ink to keep somewhat true to the Zentangle concept, but another color could look good. Let's keep the ink all one color, though.

I have done a couple on colored paper...but the white looks better. But that's okay it is all good!

I just did my first zentangles using different pastel colored cardstock and I am pleased with how they look. I am read to send them folks.

Guys, I dunno if you've figured it out (I didn't at first) but there are a bunch of sweet patterns to be found in the Zentangle website's archived newsletters! They're definitely worth it, just wanted to pass the wealth around :3

I have been having fun using my colored cardstock making zentangles. I am using black ink on colored paper. I like the look.

I need to go get an ultra fine point black to add some detail
