im afraid it might melt though.

@ craftymomme08: think positive, if it arrives melt, we'll drink a cup of hot chocolate LOL

ButterflyDreams 08/25/2009 #

Unfortunately it's always going to be hot somewhere in the world so a melted chocolate is a risk we'll have to take :) If your worried about your chocolate melting, maybe avoid sending chocolates which have a soft centre as these tend to melt quicker than those with solid centres :)

I got chocolate in the mail and it didn't melt and I'm in Florida with over 90 degree weather. I was surprised. It was a very dark chocolate so may they melt at a high temp. Good science experiment!

What I do is place the bar in a zip lock bar or stick it in a lightweight-disposable Tupperware container. The ones the Ziplock has are handy. The chocolate may arrive melted, but it won't get squashed.

Great idea Tatsu :)

This sounds like great fun! A message to whoever my partner is, I'm allergic to coconut so no coconut thanks. But apart from that I'll eat anything.

What size chocolate bar do you mean for this? I know standard bar sizes would vary according to the country....I think a 'normal'# size one here is like 42g or something or a larger 'sharesize' bar would be 200g?

Thanks.

Hi, it's for a standard size individual chocolate bar. Some countries may vary in size. As this is an international swap we need to keep weight in mind as the heavier it is the more it will cost to post. Here in Australia a standard size chocolate bar is approx 10 cm in length and 4cm in width but all vary in weight.

if possible please no nuts nugget or toffee thankyou in advance

I'm a newbie, but I'd love to join. :)

Just for the record, I like both dark and milk chocolate, especially with hazelnuts or almonds. Toffee, mint and/or caramel is also wonderful.

This sounds like great fun! I love chocolate and I'm excited to try new kinds :) I absolutely love coconut and caramel. I'm not a big fan of alcohol or cherry fillings, though. Just thought to post that :)
