Description:

This swap is reasonably complex and possibly time consuming for people (well not that time consuming).

If you are a student at a college or university then this is your chance to tell us about it. There are several components to this swap though so make sure you look carefully at what's required.

  1. Go to your college or uni and collect 5-10 flyers for groups, activities, etc, or study tips, whatever you can find (most colleges/unis will have these in a student centre or library, usually near the door, they don't have to be recent if you have some already at home)
  2. Find a map of your college or university (also usually available at the student centre or library)
  3. Photos of your uni, either taken by you or from the information type booklets. If you live on campus try to add a photo of your dorm (not compulsory though)
  4. Something that you use to study with (pen, pencil, notebook, highlighter, something small though).
  5. A snack you like to have while you're studying
  6. A list of the classes you are taking this semester and a sentence about them.
  7. Your current timetable.
  8. A short letter to your partner (less than a page probably), saying the name and location of your college and maybe a couple of things about it that are special, and if you live on campus talk about your dorm.

I know this is a lot of stuff to include but it shouldn't take an awfully long time to put together. The first 2 certainly can be done within a couple of minutes while you're on campus. And 7 is simply a matter of writing down your timetable or hitting print on the computer.

Given the nature of this swap absolutely no 1's or 3's ever. Newbies will be assessed on a case by case basis (if you're a newbie make sure you PM me when you join so that i know you will send), but at the very least you must have at least one rated MAIL swap by the time the swap begins.

However i will angel if necessary but i will be checking all profiles carefully before assigning partners. Good luck and have fun.

There should be plenty of time to send since everything you need is already listed here so you can get it all put together early if you need to, and since most of what you're including is paper the postage should still be reasonably low. Obviously you must be a STUDENT to participate (and for any underagers out there, no highschool students).

Cool idea! There is a group called "College Swappers!" (http://www.swap-bot.com/group/6f36248ce4ddeb63b2dbd1d0a683a499/about) which might bring in more students.
