I have seen this swap before and would love to give credit to whomever it was that started it, so if you know, please inform me so I can post that. This is a U.S. Only swap. Sorry! I have lots of reasons for this: shipping costs are expensive, I get confused by currency converting, to track a package it is also expensive & the wait for packages to get from one country to another is FOREVER (if the package even ever arrives). HOWEVER, if you want to make an international one of the same swap, please do! For this group or swap-bot in general. This is a Fruit Themed Lucky Parcel. Cost for everything should be $10 BEFORE shipping. You can include any kind of fruit themed items you'd like, such as (but not limited to): fabric with fruit on it, kitchen items used for fruit or with fruit pictures on them, fruit flavored items, fruit scented items. Everything should then be put together in a nice fruit themed container or bag. Handmade items are OK, just please use esty as your pricing guide if you do make any of your gifts. If you do hand make some items, please mix these with some store bought items too (unless your partner is fine with all handmade). As a final touch you must included a fruit themed matchbox (this does not count as part of the $10). Stuff your fruity matchbox full with tiny fruit goodness for your partner too! Be sure to check your partners profile or etsy pages for ideas along with likes / dislikes for the LP. The matchbox can be your choice though, just as long as it is fruit themed in some way! I HAD to go out today for somethings and low and behold FRUIT stuff everywhere..OMG..I bought so much stuff..lol Now, is this to be sent in a padded envelope or flat rate box?? Or is this senders choice?? Reason I am asking,is I saw a person give another swapper on another swap,a 3 because the girl sent her swap in a BOX instead of a padded envelope..!! YEAH!!!! I could NOT believe that UN FAIR rating!! So,to cover our rear ends,does it matter?? Thank you I am so excited about this one// Anyon know where I can find a very reasonable riced tote or bag for this?? thank you .. I do not sew,sooooo..lol

Good question!! Just to make sure you get the answer to this, I'll PM you too. Either or is fine. I don't stress too much about shipping costs or type as long as you spend a fair amount in what you're sending and chose good items. So make sure you've spent $10 and how you send it, as long as items also show up not damaged, is ok by me. I had a partner threaten to give me a 3 for the same thing (I sent in an envelope that was a different size than the SUGGESTION by the swap coordinator. That suggestion wasn't the requirement but the girl was trying to pick a fight. I guess that's just how it is sometimes. But type of package is up to you!

money is ridiculously tight or believe me I would sign up. I have lemons accidentally as a theme and also apples in my kitchen. I love apple everything. fruit everything in fact. sigh. Have fun everyone!

@KizzyMamma i so understand sweetie-- It hit us hard last year- Both hubby and I were laid off.i was scared to death!! we pulled through,thank God for my kids pulling together with us.. maybe Katehawk can do a mini one when this is over?? just a thought

@funkylukecosmicart ouch--so sorry to hear that-- Hope you feel better soon and I am sure everyone will understand!! * The "tote" came in from ETSY seller today for the swap contents. I am VERY disappointed in it. IN The picture it looked so much larger.She had it hanging beside a skirt and it looked huge. MY fault for not asking the measurement first. It was MY mistake and I hope whomever I get will not think bad of me or rate me bad for this one.. I paid a little more for it than I wanted to,but...when you live in a rinky dink town like I do,things are not at your fingertips and you HAVE to pay if you want it..sigh It IS pretty though, if that will make you feel better..lol

gone postal..ummm the package,that is..With DC#... I am HAPPY now cuz I found a few great items... yay me!!! BUT, when I came back to the group to hit send,i saw I was to do a MATCHBOX..OMG how could I forget THAT!!!?? SOoooo it is going out tomorrow..LOL..you will get not 1,but 2 packages from me... I am so sorry I overlooked this..ugh..

@mizvicky -- not sure you'll see this but I have done that (sent something and realized after i forgot something else with the swap) or made something and then read the rules after and realized i have to do something else / make something else too. i think it's just a common whoopsie we all do every now and then! :) it's all good.

and the size of the parcel everything is sent it doesn't matter although i'm sure seeing it was smaller than you had wanted was a disappointment. :( since it is still fruit themed it still counts ya know? i love hearing how much passion you put into your swaps though. it's wonderful!
