Journal: Summer Life Art/Themed

My Life in Summer Themed Art Journal Sometimes Journals are all writing. Sometimes journals are more visual. This journal is both. It will tell about who you are and what you do and this time of your life.

You will create one visual journal for your partner with a minimum of 25 completed entries. You must include the 15 following prompts. The other 10+ entries can be of your choosing. Either written or art pages…or both! Your journal can be handmade or storebought. Please don’t use the “mini” journals, but use whatever size and medium that works best for you. Decorate your pages. Make it visually interesting. Keep it neat, but if it doesn’t close completely when completed, that’s okay.

Prompt List:

· Tell your partner about yourself. Include a photograph, sketch, painting or collage

· List 5 movies that are currently playing at the theater. When was the last time you saw a movie at the theater? What was it? Who were you with? Include a ticket stub if possible.

· Glue or tape a recent newspaper article on one page.

· Write about where you live. Include a photograph, sketch, painting or collage

· Write about where you vacation. (or where you would like to vacation) Include a photograph, sketch, painting or collage

· Write about your favorite summertime memory.

· Write about a favorite summertime activity

· Write about a current event that is of concern to you. Include a photograph, sketch, painting or collage

· What is your favorite article of clothing in your closet? Describe it and tell where you got it.

· Glue, tape or some how secure two labels from products that you use regularly in the summer.

· Write about the weather and what you do to cool off in the heat.

· Write about one of your favorite (or least favorite) relatives.

· Discuss food in your life. Favorite recipe? Restaurants you love? Anything food related

· Include a photograph, sketch, painting or collage pertaining to food

· Include 10+additional entries of your choosing.

This is a regional USA only swap. You must have completed 20 mailed swaps in order to participate. You must have a 4.8 rating or higher. If you are not able to mail on time, please don’t sign up. And although I hate to do it, I will exclude anyone whose profile appears shaky.
