Description:

My sister did this swap first and i'm doing it again because i love crisps.

Anyways you will have one partner each and you will send 5 different flavoured regular sized packets of crisps. That's roughly 30 - 40 grams or 1.06-1.41 ounces.

To prevent the crisp packets from being popped in the post you will have to post them in a box but I'm sure they will be pretty inexpensive to mail as they are so light. Choose your box wisely as it will factor majorly in the cost of shipping.

Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. Anyone else must not have had any 3's or 1's in the past 6 months. I will be checking profiles throughly.

Please NO FLAKERS, this is a simple swap so if you don' intend on completing it please don't sign up.

If anyone thinks I should make some changes to the swap feel free to let me know as I am new to this.

HAPPY SWAPPING! Xx

Anyone have any idea roughly how much to send from USA to say, the UK? Just trying to get an idea.

Likely a bit of money. I'm not sure about USA, but I know in Canada it goes by weight AND dimensions of the box. If something doesn't weigh a lot but has a large box, it costs a lot. Same as if it's a small box but weighs a lot, it costs a lot. Every country is different though. Here in Canada we don't have flat rate boxes :( boooo

A 1 1/2 pound box from the US to the UK would cost $14.20. You can calculate postage online at www.usps.gov.

Oops. This link will work better:

@margaret , just a note to let you know that there is an error in the conversion. 30-40 grams would be 1.06-1.41 ounces.

If that is per bag, the total weight for the swap before boxing it would be roughly 5-7 ounces (less than 1/2 a pound). The shipping weight for 12 ounces (to account for some weight for the box) from the US to UK is $9.04. Hope that helps! Have a fun swap! :-)

Ouch, that's alot more than the price of the chips. Thanks.

Last time 4 this swap it cost me about $6.50 to send the chips to my swap partner in Hong Kong. But the package I recieved was so fun- well worth the shipping I would say esp to be able to sample chips I can't buy (:

I would really like to join this swap, but I'm allergic to MSG or additive 621, in Australia we have lots of snacks that don't have this in. What's it like in other countries?
