Monopoly ATC Challenge 1 of 7

This is part one of a seven-part series of ATC swaps. In a nutshell, we will be making a Monopoly Game Board out of ATC's!

Swap #1

We are going to start off easy and make one ATC for each of the corners on the standard Monopoly game board:

1. GO
2. JAIL
3. FREE PARKING
4. GO TO JAIL

You will design one ATC using any medium you choose to represent each of these spaces on a Monopoly board. You can depict them in any way you choose as long as it is obvious which block your ATC represents.

DON'T just make an ATC that looks like the block on the board. Use your imagination and make it a block that even Parker Bros. would be envious of. Use the name of the block as the theme and show us how you interpret it.

DON'T slap a sticker on it and call it an ATC. Stickers are perfectly ok to use if done correctly. Stickers should add to the ATC art, not be the ATC art.

DO make the dimensions of the cards 2.5 x 3.5 inches (64 x 89 mm).

DO make them sturdy. If you have cardstock, maybe adhere it to a piece of stiff cardboard to make it stronger (cereal boxes are GREAT!

DO sign and date your ATC's to include the swap name and your user name. If you are making multiple copies, indicate if your partner is receiving the original or the duplicate.

Newbies will be allowed in on a case-by-case basis. Just send me a message so I can check out your profile. If I don't allow you, don't take it personal. Just get some more swaps under your belt and we can do a private one later.

This IS international. There will never be more than 6 ATC's being sent at one time which can be sent with a single stamp (in the U.S.) without additional cost (assuming they aren't too heavily embellished), so AT MOST we are looking at 98 cents to mail a swap. PLEASE NO WHINING about postage. If you don't want to pay the postage, simply ignore this swap. Don't complain about it in the comments section. I will delete whiny comments and ban whiny participants.

You have until September 30th to have these POSTED. SO don't procrastinate. Get them done BEFORE the due date and they will be on time! There is plenty of time to complete 4 HIGH quality ATC's for your partner. Make the most of it!
