Description:

Well the first one was so much fun I decided to do another.

You will scavenge a 6 x 9" (or larger) envie full of found goodies to mail to your partner. Examples include : old keys, ephemera, bottle caps, shiny things you found in the parking lot, found fabric, bits and bobs from the garage, you get the idea. The rule is that is must be a "found" item. Nothing new. You can bust your stash, walk around town staring at the ground like a crow, raid your garage, do some creative cutting on your old magazines, find stuff at the thrift store, raid the junk drawer of everyone you know. Think outside the box for sources. It's not profile based, your partner can have the fun of deciding what to do with the supplies in their crafts.

These kind of supplies are great for so much (dolls, frames, etc.) as we all know and it's a blast scavenging for these items. Make sure they are "clean" and usable. Any questions please pm me. Have fun! Everyone in good standing in the group is welcome.

These swaps are wonderful! I always have so many "found objects" and "scavenged things" collected and ready to pass on to other clever crafters!

One swapper said she's going to do the 4.95 priority box because she sent so many metal pieces. Thought that was a great idea for the heavy stuff. From the last round I've made ATCs, dolls and jewelry so far. Also have shared along some of the things, but not much!

redrooster 09/14/2010 #

hmmm does the 4.95 priority box include shipping to overseas??

nmterrier 09/17/2010 #

Nope, they do those boxes for around 14.00.

dizzysgram 10/ 1/2010 #

@redrooster No. From what my postman at the PO said... Much of overseas is at least 11.95 US, or maybe more. I think the 4.95 is continental USA only. Not even sure about Alaska or Hawaii. I think that the 4.95 box is the way to go for this one because I won't be limited to what I can send. Woot! Looking forward to this one! LOL

You can ship a international package - large envelope for around $4 first class, to most places EVERY WHERE - except italy i think. Not too bad!! Priority starts at 13 or so...why are we speaking of this?? Just came around to see if i had a partner yet cause my treasures have been found. I do hope they satisfy...
