Description:
For this international swap you will have 2 partners and create 2 Artist Trading Cards (ATCs.) Your cards must include the image of a heart with wings. 2x2 = 4 cards total New swappers are welcome if they have a completed profile and links to photos of their art/craft work. Ranked traders must have a score of 4.8, or please message me for discussion. --Your ATCs must be 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. --Any medium is OK. You can draw, paint, collage, sew, sculpt, etc. Digital prints on good quality paper are fine, but you should make sure all cards reflect some evidence of your own, original work. --Your card should have at least two layers. The surface art and a base card. This means you can not send a single piece of paper. You must mount your art on a base card. You decide if you want to use a playing card or heavier paper for the backing. --While minimalistic style is fine, the goal is to make cards with your own personal artistic touches. If you are using pre-made stickers or other embellishments, please make sure that your card also includes some visible hand-working. --Make sure the card embellishments are not too thick. Cards should fit into a standard trading card size sleeve. --Do your best work. Make cards you'd be happy to receive. Don't sign up if you are not able to spend time on this project. Don't sign up if you are not going to send. --This is an international swap. Please make sure you are willing to send outside your home country. A question came to me about the "two layer" requirement. Basically I want to make sure these cards are sturdy and solidly made. I don't want to have cards that are just one piece of paper. So, whether you draw, paint, take a photo, collage, or whatever you should mount the drawing on a backing card. For fabric, you would want to make sure the "card" is thick enough so it doesn't crumple -- I assume that would mean fabric fused to something, or more than one layer of fabric. I guess that two layer requirement might be modifiable for clay or wood (or glass or plastic...)

So, please don't worry too much about this! I suspect all of you are ready and willing to make really nice cards!

Caffelatte and DJPirtu, your ATC's went out in today's mail just in time! So be looking for them.

DJPirtu your's has to come across alot of miles (oceans, contenants, etc, etc, etc) to get to you so while it was mailed just in time to qualify as not being late, it will take awhile to get to you so please take that in to consideration when applying your ratings before they arrive.

I still have not received from one partner. Acording to swapbot the person has said they have mailed, and have said so since before the mailing deadline. Call me douptful, but if they mailed three weeks ago I think I should have gotten the atc's long before now since I have gotten others mailed long after they said they mailed!

(Just venting not whining folks.)

I personally would love to participate in another swap, maybe after the hollidays when I have more time.
